We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their needs are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Single Point of Customer Contact (SPOCC) handling 95% of all customer communication
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with our customers
· Answer and respond to inbound calls from customers and vendors, Route calls to prospective team members
· Liaison between vendor and Territory managers to support customer requests
· Provide quotations to customers and follow-up to transition quote to a sale’s order
· Provide accurate shipping data to customers based on availability and/or vendor’s production schedules
· Research billing inquiries from customers and vendors
· Effectively communicate Bay Seal’s terms and conditions pertaining to orders, returns and billing
· Administer and maintain contract pricing per individual customer
· Place and track purchase orders with Bay Seal’s vendors
· Perform data entry, including but not limited to, Customer’s order and PO’s to vendors
· Process invoicing for specified customer(s)
· Manage consignment stock levels
· Process customer returns, establish root cause and provide preventative solutions
· Analyze customer drawings and PDF’s to determine correct product
· Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned above satisfactorily. Position requires an individual to have a strong background in customer service. They must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite, in addition to possessing other data entry skills. Some knowledge of ERP/Order Entry systems would be helpful. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to analyze information, attention to details, and multi-tasking is also important for success in this role.
Education/Experience:
High School graduate, or equivalent. (Some college helpful)
At least 2 years’ experience in customer service.
Other Skills:
· Strong English language skills required, both verbal and written
· Basic Math skills required
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
