Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of The Villages Entertainment Ticket Sales and Customer Relations, and providing genuine customer service, while maximizing Patron Education by the means of ticket sales and general Entertainment information. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Full-Time, On-Site position.
This position will work out of the Spanish Springs location, but will have occasional requirements to report to Middleton.
Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Assist, serve and provide a high standard of customer service.

Promote Gift Cards during the holidays and transaction disputes.

Process accommodation requests, including, but not limited to, handicap, personal, and professional.

Assist with the shipping and delivery of tickets, confirmations, gift cards, etc.

Cash handling and accurate operation of the till.

Actively sell Entertainment tickets with respect to The Villages Entertainment Ticketing Policy.

Remain up-to-date and educated on all promotional material and ongoing projects/productions.

Follow-up with supervisors or administrative staff regarding office supplies, ticket stock, and cash denominations of the till.

Assist in the maintenance of ticket types depending on the location and shift.

Assist in the upkeep of Box Office locations, supplies, and property.

Contribute positively to team members and work environment, including intra and outer department communication.

Promote the public understanding of The Villages Entertainment Ticketing Policy and the importance/perks of comprehension.

Adhere to all bullying and harassment guidelines, including the confidentiality expected regarding any information not publicly announced.

Contribute to other departments when responsibilities cross (special events, educational presentations, department meetings, individual evaluations, master classes on software, monthly agenda meetings, etc.).
Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Prior experience in Retail or Customer Service; Theater or Performing Arts/ Cash Handling or Sales/Accounting; Software Management or Technical Support.

Must have departmental software computer knowledge (based on department employed by with a minimum of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
