Job Overview – Inside Sales
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads, making outbound calls, and closing sales. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and has a passion for sales.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role preferably in the medical device industry or with a machining CMO supplying the medical device industry.
2. Experience reading prints
3. Experienced in discussing machining, secondary ops and other capabilities with customers.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficient in using CRM software to manage customer interactions.
8. Knowledge of the market trends and competitors in the medical device industry.
9. Business development mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities - Account Manager/Customer Service
1. Sales Functions:
· Conduct outbound calls to new contacts within existing customers to introduce our capabilities
· Sales analysis by customer and by part.
· Prospecting for new projects within existing customers/buying groups/engineering
· Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
· Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
· Email marketing
· Trade show management/coordination.
· Follow up with contacts made at trade shows.
· Daily coordination with Outside Rep.
· Create/update marketing materials in coordination with Outside Rep.
· Site visits with Outside Rep.
· Close deals and achieve monthly sales targets
· Collaborate with Outside Sales to develop strategies to reach new customers
· Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
2. Quote intake from customers and Outside Rep.
· Coordinate quote process with Engineers, Quality, Planner, and Dir. of OPS
· Log, track and finalize all quotes
· Handle all quote follow up with customers
3. Purchase Order intake:
· Receive PO’s and coordinate with Engineer, Quality, and Dir. of OPS
· Log PO's and process in manufacturing software
· Confirm PO acceptance with customers
4. Customer Service Duties:
· Process requests for altering delivery dates in and out.
· Accommodate shipment tracking number requests.
· Customer follow-up on status of parts
· Approval of overages for those accounts that require pre-approval
· Weekly and monthly spreadsheet completion of ship date for select customers.
· Miscellaneous customer requests
· Communication with Engineers and customers on print issues.
· General inbound customer inquiries
· Provide customer support for Outside Sales Reps.
· Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
