Tietronix Software seeks a Front-End Developer to support Tietronix Life Sciences in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities will include:
- Develop new user-facing features based on UI/UX Designs
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Write unit tests and produce good quality code
- Support testing and documentation
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 – 5 years of experience in front end development
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Bootstrap
- Good understanding of Angular/AngularJS, ReactJS or VueJS
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN
Preferred experience with:
- Backend development technologies like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, .Net, C# and Java
