Serves as a liaison to appropriate college and university offices and programs related to the all Masters programs such as the graduate school, international services, enrolled student services, etc. Provides primary support to students in addressing issues related to registration, transfer credits, financial aid, and admissions. Disseminates information and reminders of deadlines to current Masters students. Supervises the maintenance of an alumni list with up-to-date contact information.
25% - Essential - Administrative Support:
Assists the Masters Coordinator to prepare, maintain, and update a database for records for CS M.S., Master of Applied Computing (MAC), and MSCS Ready program, and to review applications for SACSCOC required minimum unique credits. Prepares and evaluates graduation audits to ensure all required materials and forms are completed.
25% - Essential - Advising and Program Support:
Disseminates information and reminders of deadlines to current masters students. Maintains familiarity with graduate school and international student policies in order to direct graduate students to relevant university resources. Provides primary support to students in addressing advising issues related to registration, transfer credits, financial aid and admissions; supervises the maintenance the alumni list with up-to-date information.
15% - Essential - Recruitment:
Independently corresponds with prospective students. Plans and manages recruitment activities set forth by the program coordinators including campus visits from perspective students. Plans and Coordinates orientation sessions at the beginning of fall and spring semesters. Assists with the design, develop, and production of publications and related recruiting brochures/materials.
