Energy Management Systems, a rapidly growing comprehensive energy solutions provider, is looking for the newest member of its Service team. The Service Department Administration Specialist will be a key contributor to that team, assisting internally in the Service Department with project scheduling, contracts, inventory control, and other departmental administrative tasks, reporting directly to the Director of Field Service and Construction. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and customer service skills, as well as effective written communication skills, and the drive and determination to play an operative role in a dynamic and growing organization.
Job Summary
Primary Purpose
Responsible for assisting in the administration, organization, and scheduling within the Service Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for Project Managers.
- Assist with creation of project documentation and project workflow data entry
- Construct equipment and materials for install jobs
- Prep and ship materials for supply only jobs
- Provide field technician support for access issues, AMI Technical support, and troubleshooting for our national field service team
- Create IT tickets and update internal databases with data collected from the field
- Assist Inventory Specialist with processing and cataloging inventory
- Attend weekly internal and external meetings
- Other administrative projects as needed

- Communicates regularly with service team, other departments, management and customers to facilitate service projects run efficiently and effectively.

- Technological literacy including familiarity with word-processing, spreadsheets and other industry- specific software.

- Ability to effectively adapt to changes in the work environment and/or scope of work.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds 3 times per shift
- Experience in construction, trade or other technical field a plus.
Work Schedule and Location
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30 – 4:30.
- Exton, Pennsylvania office
