Summary: Pharmacy Supply Chain Receiver is responsible for receiving, stocking and delivering pharmaceuticals/pharmaceutical supplies to the Pharmacy satellites. The Receiver requires the use of automated technology such as pharmaceutical carousels as well as a Pharmacy inventory control software, Materials Management Information System (Lawson) and hand held bar code readers. Performs daily cyclical and annual inventories on all pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies. Accept and processes pharmaceutical returns.

This is a Full Time day shift position; 10 hour shifts with alternating weekends;
Job Responsibilities
Retrieve incoming pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies and equipment delivered to the Pharmacy from Supply Chain. Review the items and signs for packages. Compares product documentation with the actual products delivered to verify accuracy of the shipment, identifying overage and shortages and resolving discrepancies with Supply Chain staff and / or buyers. Segregate material for delivery and stock location storage.
Receives requests from the various satellite Pharmacies for restocking. Process emergency requests from the various satellite Pharmacies, pulling required items and delivery items to those locations.
Delivers pharmaceuticals/pharmaceutical supplies, and requisitions Lawson items for the satellites Pharmacies. Replenish various Pharmacy storage locations, assist with cycle inventories, identify shortages and make necessary recommendations for changes as necessary. Operate all assigned Information Systems, Pharmacy handling equipment.
Place delivered pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies into their assigned storage location utilizing first-in first-out rotation. Perform dated item management.
Perform daily cycle counts of all refrigerator and Sterile Room pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies. All other pharmaceutical items are cycle counted at least four (4-6) per month.
Process returns under the guidance of our Buyers and in accordance with vendor's protocols.
Assist Pharmacy leadership in identifying potential cost savings opportunities. Perform projects for the Pharmacy leadership related to Pharmacy Supply Chain management and other duties as assigned. Facilitate and coordinate timely repair of the equipment with CMC Biomed or outside vendors. Ensure compliance with all employment requirements such as periodic employee health matters, training and education, etc.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Credentials:
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration Upon Hire Required
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year of related experience Required

- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration
