This hands-on career requires a strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the dental team and a variety of patients. RDA responsibilities will include performing cleanings, assisting doctors with various dental treatments including orthodontic procedures, taking x-rays, infection control , cleaning and sterilization of instruments, tray setup, charting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Dental Assistant as well as Orthodontic Assisting knowledge, (Pediatric experience a plus)
- Knowledge of General, Pediatric, and Orthodontic dental treatments, instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform all dental assistant duties
- Open Dental computer skills or equivalent
- Excellent communication, and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Ability to Inspire, Smile & Laugh
Office Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. One Saturday per month from 8:00am to Noon)
