Basic Requirement: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study (or equivalent) in psychology. (Must submit transcript.)
In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement listed above, applicants must meet the following Minimum Qualifications Requirement in order to be considered.
For the GS 13: Applicants must have at least one full-time year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (or equivalent) performing
ALL of the following duties:
(1) Applying technical expertise in the principles of industrial and organizational or social psychology ensuring all studies, research, analysis, or assessments meet professional standards (e.g., Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures) and legal requirements to meet or exceed the specific needs of internal and external customers. AND
(2) designing surveys/assessments; using statistics; conducting job, trend, and qualitative analysis. AND
(3) Providing technical guidance and advice to others on human capital or related policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. AND
(4) Collaborating and working with others on projects and/or studies focused on research to develop competency models, assessments, and products to solve complex problems in Human Resources Management and I/O Psychology. AND
(5) Developing technical guidance for a variety of occupations (e.g., white- and/or blue-collar; General Schedule; Trades and Labor) and presenting information to leadership and other stakeholders.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
