McGill AirClean and McGill AirPressure, subsidiaries of United McGill, have about 70 years’ experience solving air pollution control problems for a large variety of industrial sources, including furnaces, boilers, incinerators, kilns and dryers, and providing pressure processing equipment such as autoclaves and vacuum dryers for many industries.
The Associate will supervise multi-trade construction projects for the installation of new air pollution control systems and rebuilds of existing systems. This includes supervising assigned projects to completion, on-time and within budget, maintaining accurate documentation, inspecting all field work done by Company’s subcontractors for quality assurance and conformance to contract specifications, and monitoring safe work practices of Company’s subcontractors.
Qualifications include: five to ten years’ experience in industrial field construction, preferably installing large-scale capital equipment, ability to live at the job site about four months, familiarity with OSHA safety regulations, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, Construction Management or the like is preferred plus. When not working at the job site, the individual will work at the headquarters in Columbus, OH.
