ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist Department Manager in establishing and meeting department annual targets
- Quality assurance of all direct material including process assessment, process control plans, PFMEAs, inspection plans and statistical data
- Supplier quality management
- Supplier quality performance monitoring and reporting
- PPAP coordination of direct vendor material
- Review and disposition of supplier PPAP’s.
- Quality planning and assurance associated with engineering changes including process layout and flow, statistical and process control, and poka yokes
- Maintain and interpret SPC data.
- Lead and maintain Kaizen projects.
- Proactive review and improvement of systems and processes to ensure maintenance of standards.
- Continuous improvement to the manufacturing process.
- Understands and follows the ISO 14001 Environmental System
- Understands and follows the ISO 8001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System
- Understands and follows the Safety Management System

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
AA Degree or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
