Shreem Capital is a hotel investment firm based out of Irving, Texas area looking to complete a 4 star boutique hotel in Irving Texas (Las Colinas area). Shreem is a fast growing hospitality company looking for motivated individual to grow within our firm and help complete a unique and visionary project on the Las Colinas Mandalay Canal.
Overview: The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all the activities of a hotel construction site according to project plans and schedules. They will provide on-site direction, perform safety checks & quality control, and work directly with Subcontractors, Vendors and the Project team to deliver a turnkey hotel. Typical builds are four-story stick frame structures.
Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough knowledge of construction processes and the proven ability to manage a project from start to finish.
- Manage and lead all operations on site including project progress, Subcontractor work schedules and Vendor deliveries.
- Inspect all deliveries and report and document issues.
- Adhere to project schedule and budget by collaborating with all parties to implement cost-effective and efficient techniques.
- Ensure quality standards and owner expectations are met.
- Maintain records for project such as daily logs, cost estimates for labor, supplies or materials, and RFIs.
- Provide project communication including daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
- Place orders for and manage on-site general requirements including equipment, office trailers, small tool expenses and temp utilities.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with Vendors, Suppliers and Purchasing Agent.
- Monitor and ensure safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness on-site.
- Identify project risk and work to mitigate it.
- Liaising with city officials and inspection authorities regarding approvals.
- Hire temp labor as necessary and assign work accordingly.
- Manage project closeout and punch list.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.
- Competent in interpreting and building according to drawings, specifications and other documents.
- Ability to read plans and have an understanding of project costs and scheduling.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
- Able to work effectively under deadlines.
- Ability to work with and build relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Experience with hospitality or commercial upfit projects.
- Proficient with MS Office platforms and Outlook.
- Experience with Procore platform a plus.
- Be able to travel and be on-site for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
