Our client, a global luxury retailer, is seeking a temporary HRIS & Compensation Coordinator to join their team on a hybrid schedule in NYC. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, is highly organized with a strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. This is a temporary position with the ability to become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business.
Job Duties Include:
- Comprehend business objectives and proposing innovative methods, regulations, and protocols to facilitate ongoing enhancement
- Manage and advise in employee disciplinary action, terminations, and investigations
- Hands-on approach to comprehend the workforce and effectively monitoring employees' feedback to ensure a high level of engagement
- Provide coaching to employees on the application of policies and procedures, employment and labor laws, conflict resolution, and other relevant topics to foster a fair and unbiased work environment
- Collaborate with Senior Director and Sr. Manager of HR
- Leverage HR policies, programs, and practices
- Research, develop, and implement innovative policies and procedures to positively impact business
- Keep compliance with all state and federal laws
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 5+ years of ER experience
- Experience with Retail Employee Relations issues
- Experience doing investigations within retail stores
- Must have knowledge of provincial HR laws
- Fashion industry experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Salary: $26 - $28/hr + bonus eligibility
