We are seeking a Casino Floor Supervisor with casino experience.
Reporting to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the staff and operations of the property and for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Diligently monitors the casino floor and requests valid identification to ensure that all customers are at least 21 years of age.
- Strictly adheres to company policies and gaming regulations in accordance with the South Dakota Commission on Gaming.
- Supervises team members in all departments throughout the property and reviews daily staffing levels for proper coverage, according to guest counts.
- Collaborates to develop staff schedules to fit the business needs of the season.
- Covers daily breaks throughout the operation.
- Covers shifts in various departments as needed for vacations and callouts.
- Trains new team members and updates all team members on new policies and procedures.
- Completes various documentation and reports indicating overages, shortages, attendance, or variances.
- Acts as member of drop team and reads slot machine meters as needed.
- Maintains complete knowledge of comp procedures as well as the ability to evaluate guests' worth, ensuring that qualified guests are taken care of.
- Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenues, as well as reducing costs.
- Mentors all front-line staff, assisting in their professional development and growth.
- Investigates and helps resolve guest complaints or concerns and exercises good judgment to resolve disputes.
- Addresses customer and employee issues and creates a great environment for customers and employees.
- Communicates with fellow supervisors and managers in person, by phone and email.
- Maintains slot machines making sure they are in working order, paying customer jackpots/hand pays.
- Enrolls customers into players club and assist customers in using their club card and free play.
- Performs minor repair work on slot machines.
- Keeps the property clean, attractive, and safe.
- Safeguards assets of the company.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Key License with the South Dakota Commission on Gaming. https://dor.sd.gov/individuals/gaming/

- Experience in casino gaming operations, hospitality, or food/beverage preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Two to three years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and multi-tasking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or related software; slot systems, surveillance, and point of sale system experience a plus.
- The ability to learn player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines consistent with normal industry standards.
- Technical understanding of a broad range of slot machines and systems a plus.
ABILITIES & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on a daily basis, walk to various areas of the casino, and be able to push, pull or move heavy objects with assistance.
- Work environment may include variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Ability to secure and maintain a Key SD Gaming License.
