Behavior Program Facilitator
College Hospitals looking for 1 fulltime Behavior Program Facilitator to join our growing team! Our full-time position is available in our Cerritos, CA.
1 fulltime position is Mon-Fri 11am-7:30pm shift.
Our Behavior Program Facilitator is responsible for implementing and providing behavior interventions modeling, training and support to the Mental Health Workers and Nursing staff according to Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies. Collaborates and coordinates with the Nursing staff and Behavior Analyst on a daily basis to provide support in developing intervention plans for patients on the unit.
Duties:
- Effectively provides support in the development of behavior intervention plans and is able to articulate the behavior intervention plan to other staff members.
- Accurately implements behavior intervention plans with patients with development disabilities and mental illness.
- Effectively reviews and discusses incoming patients with Behavior Analyst.
- Plans and facilitates group activities on the unit utilizing behavior techniques and strategies appropriately.
- Works independently on the floor while following through with behavior intervention strategies for individual patients and maintaining appropriate group strategies for other patients.
- Regularly attends and participates in shift reports between shifts.
- Attends and participates in Treatment Team Meetings as needed.
- Effectively performs additional duties and responsibilities as position requires.
Required Skills:
- BA/BS degree in psychology, life development, education, counseling, communication, sociology or social work.
- 2 years' experience utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies with adolescents and/or adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.87 per hour
