Current Need: We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Grapevine, TX. Our ideal candidate will be currently located within Grapevine or within easy driving distance.
Position Summary:
Our Opertions Supervisor will be responsible for supervising associates who are accountable for project execution, process training and quality improvement to ensure continuous improvement and drive process consistency to best practice.
Supervising team of associates responsible for project execution, process training and quality improvement. Includes team task planning, scheduling and management.
Project Task Planning, Management and Execution – Manage projects as assigned to provide requested deliverables by due dates. Provide updates on tasks through completion. Document project progress through various software tools such as: SharePoint, Smartsheet, OneNote, PowerPoint. Execute project to satisfaction of requester/process owner and ensure sustainability.
Rapid Improvement/Lean Projects- Identify sources of waste and take action to reduce/eliminate (6S); improve productivity, reduce cost.
Process Review/Audit - Review processes to identify process gaps to compliance or efficiency (pain points). Report out findings/recommendations through a written report.
Process Standardization and Documentation - Create and/or revise DC documents for various processes, cross verify with process owners for accuracy & submit for approval. Documents may include but not limited to: SOPs, Training Checklists, Process learning exercises, DC signage.
Training – Execute DC training program. Ensure department and compliance requests are being fulfilled to acceptable service levels. Create and execute weekly training plans.
Assist other areas - Assist other departments with their corresponding process functions when business needs require - heavy volume, first of month, special projects.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience within a highly automated DC
Experience with Goods to Person (ASR-Automated Storage Retrieval Systems) Dematic Conveyors, Intelligrated Systems
Advanced WMS/LMS systems experience needed
Advanced technology experience: automatic storage and retrieval systems, Pick To Light
Highly engaged & inspirational leader with Team Building Experience
Project Planning Skills
Advanced PC Knowledge - including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Outlook, Smartsheet, SharePoint
Experience with inventory functions
Experience with E1/RF web or similar system following transactions, transfers, adjustments, slotting, location profiles, trigger points
Equipment Certified on Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pallet Rider (must obtain certification if not certified)
Basic Data analysis
Time Management Skills – manages time wisely, self-motivated.
Excellent problem solving skills
Professionalism - reacts well under pressure; keeps emotions under control; team player
Strong communication skills responding professionally both verbally and written
