Position
Switch Electric is currently looking for an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join the team. As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager at Switch Electric, you will be an essential part of our project management team, supporting the successful execution of the projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the overall project success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in coordinating and overseeing mission-critical and data center projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and financial records.
· Client Interaction: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns while providing excellent customer service.
· Resource Management: Assist in allocating and managing project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards, conducting inspections as required.
· Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report any deviations to Project Managers.
· Technical Support: Provide technical support to project teams, collaborating with engineers and electricians to solve technical challenges.
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of managing electrical managing small projects
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Project Site, Acubid, and Bluebeam)
· Knowledge of CAD/BIM
· Knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards is advantageous.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
