We are seeking a skilled Landscape Design/Estimator with extensive landscape construction experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing project estimates, managing subcontractor relationships, and ensuring the successful preparation of landscape construction estimates.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to prepare detailed landscape and construction estimates.
- Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets based on design specifications and client requirements.
- Manage the bidding process, including sending out Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to assess and update construction techniques and production rates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related construction field preferred.
- Proven experience in landscape construction and project estimating, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design or estimating software/tools.
- Strong understanding of landscape materials, plantings, and construction techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate estimates and construction drawings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
