Proserv Aviation seeks an agile and eager Receiver to streamline receiving functions working alongside department leads. The Receiver is expected to take ownership of all serial numbers as they arrive and ship, from receiving new product, generating repair orders for outbound parts, receiving repaired products, and properly shelving warehouse product.
Definition of Role and Responsibilities:
The objective of the Inventory Manager is to ensure the accuracy
of inventory presented to teammates and customers at the serial
number level. The Receiver is expected to manage all assets using direct entry method, in an electronic database, by auditing and correcting defects, and documenting new information as products arrive
and leave. Success in this position is defined by the customer’s
ability to purchase a product based on the description provided at the time of sale, and the sales personnel’s confidence in that information.
Peripheral Responsibilities:
1. Material Arrival
1.1. Coordinate all inbound shipping from customers and vendors;
1.2. Unload, sort, and distribute all inbound packages among GSE America, Proserv Aviation and their personnel;
1.3. Receive and audit new Proserv Aviation product, returns, leases and core exchanges;
1.3.1. Capture photographs when shipping damage is found;
1.3.2. Audit the accuracy of products and paperwork to reflect correct purchase order requirements, quantity, part number, serial number if applicable, condition, trace, and primary description;
1.3.3. Notify supplier of product or paperwork discrepancies;
1.3.3.1. Request any missing documentation from supplier;
1.3.4. Capture photographs when part numbers or serial numbers are unclear;
1.3.4.1. Record appropriate stock notes related to that condition
1.3.5. Scan and upload packing lists and shipping documents to
Purchase/Repair Order;
1.3.6. Scan and upload certificates to Inspection History;
1.3.7. Fill in appropriate fields in each window;
1.4. Package inbound product with appropriate hard-copy certificates and marketing material enclosed;
1.4.1. Print stock ticket and affix to item;
1.4.2. Assign electronic bin location and warehouse products accordingly;
2. Repair Orders
2.1. Generate repair orders for vendors alongside the sales department.
Requirements
· Ability to safely lift 75+lbs unassisted.
· Ability to navigate the unfamiliar comfortably.
· Ability to work independently in their department.
· Willing to obtain forklift certification and DOT authorization.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen, with a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in our office in Oak Creek Wisconsin
· 1+ year in inventory or warehouse role
· Strong written communication skills with exceptional data entry competence.
· Comfort analyzing and speaking to large volumes of data.
· Strong business acumen. Self-motivated, with the ability to identify and execute on business objectives.
· Good math skills.
· Basic understanding of operations.
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
