SALARY RANGE: $22 hr.min $25 hr.mid $29 hr. max
Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support our corporate office by handling financial administrative and accounts receivable tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
· Submit monthly invoices to customers.
· Resolve customer billing issues and requests.
· Make collection calls/emails as needed.
· Reconcile accounts for month-end closing.
· Use Office Suite proficiently (Outlook, Word, Excel).
· Maintain high accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
· Communicate effectively and solve problems.
· Participate in audits and special projects.
· Work overtime as scheduled by management.
· Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
· Collaborate with Project Managers and Accounting Department on monthly invoices.
· Manage lien notices and supplier releases.
· Assist A/R Manager with monthly close.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
· Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure.
· Proficient in computer systems, email, and benefits administration software.
· Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Education and Experience Requirements
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Minimum of five years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
Experience and Qualifications
· Strong interpersonal skills and discretion with confidential information.
· Attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
· Effective communication across all levels of personnel.
· Strong work ethic and ownership of work product.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Construction experience is highly desirable.
Physical Demands
· Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch during an 8-hour shift.
· Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
· Visual acuity for fine print and computer screens.
· Periodic exposure to noise and dust in the office environment.
