HASC, a premier special education school, is looking for a Hearing Teacher to treat students in our School Age Program in Brooklyn. Experience with special education experience population is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- administer assessment procedures according to standardized or recommended techniques
- establish functional and attainable goals and objectives
- adapts assessment methods when usual procedures are not practical cost

HASC began in 1963 to serve the needs of the needs of disabled children. From the start, the program was characterized by professionalism, with a focus on the individual needs of each child. The vision continues to affect the programs that we operate today. What started as a small program in New York City, has now blossomed into many locations in the New York region servicing over 1,100 children.
Services are provided at the child’s home, day care center, nursery and at our center based locations.
We are licensed by the NYS Education Department and by the NYS Department of Health. We are grant recipients from OMRDD, DSS, DYCS, USHUD and USDE which provide program enrichments.
