Chairside assistant wanted for a busy and successful orthodontic practice. No experience necessary, but you must be enthusiastic, a quick learner, team player, great with people, willing to learn, and have great attention to detail. If you love making people smile, this is the place for you!
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to:
- Preparing patients for examination and treatment
- Sterilizing equipment before and after use
- Assisting in infection control
- Assisting the orthodontist in procedures, and handling emergency visits
- Taking and managing patient records
- Providing pre and post-treatment instructions
- Taking impressions
- Cleaning and disinfecting equipment, instruments, and patient areas
- Educating patients on proper oral health
- Wielding suction tools and passing instruments during treatment
- Changing out wires and colored ties
- Placing and fixing molar bands
- Placing fixed appliances
- Providing at-home instructions for proper orthodontic care
This is a full-time position with opportunities for bonuses, 401K, and paid vacation. Pay will be based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
