This position is to help us to newly develop a market of Textile/Fabric and Garment as well as textile products in North America, acquiring new customers under a sales budget. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper Management.
Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for selling products to North American clients.

Maximize sales by promoting new products to existing clients and acquiring new clients to expand overall sales.

Handle the entire sales process from presentation of our product to clients up to deliveries, providing customer service in a professional manner.

Travel within North America for sales and customer service and China and Asia to understand products and settle outstanding issues with suppliers when needed.

Negotiate and conclude sales contracts with fixing clients for price, delivery date and payment issues etc.

Communicate with affiliate offices and mills in Asia on a daily basis in order to confirm orders and to accomplish orders as well as to solve problems meeting clients' requirements.

Responsible to set up semester budget and report its progress with numbers to the supervisor and Management in writing on a monthly basis.

As requested, may provide general typing of letters and reports; Provides photocopying as requested; Sends and receives email letters and reports.

Maintains corporate and departmental records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with management personnel.

Receives calls and responds to inquiries.

Maintains operational procedures relative to office clerical activities and works flow in and out of the department.

Reports all irregular issues and problems to the supervisor for resolution.

Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of sales experience in the fashion industry.

Knowledge of fashion textiles, fabric, and garments is required.

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Good skills in MS Office.

Communication level of Japanese language skills.
