Become a J.D. Ott team member supporting one of the oldest local family-owned precision aerospace manufacturers in Washington. This position is responsible for completing tasks such as but not limited to, receiving, storing, packaging, crating of various incoming parts.
This is a day shift, Monday thru Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM (onsite)
Essential Functions
- · Verify, count and package to protect all incoming products.
- · Move products to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
- · Identify and label products, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.
- · Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.
- · Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience using basic computer tools.
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred, but not required.
- Certification to ride forklift truck preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work well in a team.
- Able to lift up to 40 or more lbs. and comply with all safety requirements.
