Job Description:
The Houston School District, in partnership with Soliant, is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to impact students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of remote work for certain tasks. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services across our school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Campus Coverage: Serve multiple campuses within the district, providing necessary psychological services.
- Reevaluations: Conduct reevaluations for approximately 75% of the role.
- Counseling/Consulting: Offer counseling and consultation services as needed.
- Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs): Participate in MDRs to support student needs.
- Hybrid Work Environment: While direct student interactions and certain tasks require on-site presence, report writing and other administrative duties can be completed remotely.
Qualifications:
- License Requirements: Must hold a valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or possess a Trainee Status Letter issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and providing counseling services.

- No Full-Time Remote Candidates: This position requires the candidate to be physically present in the district for direct student work. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
