Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Established owner, manager, and developer is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a group of buildings in the Bronx consisting of 477 total units.
We offer a salary and benefits package that includes medical, 401(k), and paid time off. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters efficiently and with accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls, scanning, emailing, photocopying, faxing, processing outgoing mail and packages, sorting and distributing all incoming mail and packages. Sending out letters and packages to residents. Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to communicate with tenants’ applicants and guests. Assisting Compliance with coordinating the collection and signing of Recertification Packages.
Must have data entry, word processing, and excel skills. Strong grammar and spelling skills are required to respond to general correspondence. Must be able to generate reports, memos, and detailed emails when necessary. Must be able to operate all office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and copiers.
Additional Qualifications:
Project Based Section 8/HUD experience a plus.
Experience in Yardi, familiarity with a rent ledger and the recertification process a plus.
Must be discreet when dealing with any confidential matters, must have strong attention to detail and must be dependable.
