Senior Automation Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in blueprint reading, logic controllers, fabricate, SolidWorks, machining, schematics, Fanuc, robotics, tooling, and robot programming.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that improve manufacturing processes
- Utilize expertise in logic controllers and robotics to optimize industrial automation systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to develop automation solutions
- Program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots for efficient production operations
- Fabricate tooling and components for automation systems using machining techniques
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to ensure performance meets specifications
- Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment
Skills:
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience with logic controllers and robot programming
- SolidWorks proficiency for designing automation components
- Knowledge of machining techniques for fabricating tooling
- Familiarity with Fanuc robots and robotics systems
- Strong problem-solving skills in optimizing automation processes
