We are looking for a skilled project manager with experience in one or more of: finances, procurement, parts/inventory management, QMS to support the building of our medical device, a camera for taking pictures of the retina. Our mission is to end needless blindness in babies born prematurely.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE
PARTS MANAGEMENT / PRODUCT BUILD / QMS MANAGEMENT
· Procure parts based on current inventory and upcoming demand, ensuring orders are filled to specifications, delivered in a timely manner, and are paid for from correct funding
· Work with other employees who order parts to receive part information and receipts
· Import parts and their invoices in MRP database (online software for parts management)
· Keep all parts, subassemblies and final products physically organized
· Document build of all subassemblies and final products in the MRP system
· Assist with documentation of part, subassemblies and final product validation process
· Use QMS system to perform required FDA-regulated documentation relating to parts management and product build
· Assist in review and editing of subassembly and final product build documents
SALES
· Support sales staff by providing quotes to customers via MRP’s CRM module
· Ensure payment is received by customers prior to shipping orders, including helping international customers with wire transfers
CONFERENCES
· Be the primary point of contact for conference appearances, including booking exhibit hall space
· Obtain and prepare materials for exhibition such as carpet, tables, signage, brochures
· Book travel and lodging for those going to the conference
ACCOUNTING
· Perform bi-monthly payroll with online software
· Perform weekly contractor payments
· Pay all bills in accordance with owner-provided priority scheduling
· Complete all bookkeeping in Quickbooks, including transaction entry, account reconciliation, classing according to funding source to comply with grant requirements
· Manage all bank and credit card accounts
· Manage payments from various sources of funding including grants
· Communicate with accountant as needed to prepare fiscal year’s tax return
· Collect all local, state and federal forms from payroll providers to keep on record for company and give to accountant
· Submit monthly tax returns and remittance to the Commonwealth of Virginia
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
· Use Backlog to self-track your job responsibilities
· Use Slack to communicate with other employees and owner
ADMIN & HR
· Take Meeting Notes
· Upkeep Office
· File all documents (physical and electronic)
· Be primary liaison for landlord in managing office space needs and paying rent
Schedule is full-time 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday 9-5:30 with a thirty-minute break for lunch or until 6pm for an hour lunch break.
Pay starts at $50,000 annually + bonuses for each product order for which you perform financial support. After probationary period of 90 days, PTO will begin to accrue at the rate of 2 weeks per year and 3 days work from home/2 days in office will be considered if desired.
High school diploma or GED required. College education not required but degree in engineering, accounting or other applicable field would be preferred.
