Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. Your expertise in data collection, special education, medical terminology, patient care, and behavioral health will be essential in creating effective treatment plans and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
- Supervise RBTs who are working towards BCBA certification.
- Proactivrly manage and develop RBT staff.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for individuals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis.
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols.
