Wachter is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in transitioning our manual testing team to a fully automated testing environment. This position requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, DevOps pipelines, and experience working with .NET and Angular applications.

You are required to work in the office 4 days a week, and have the option to work from home 1 day a week.

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Integrate automated tests with our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Work closely with the manual testing team to understand existing test cases and processes.

Convert manual test cases into automated scripts.

Train and mentor manual testers in automation techniques and best practices.

Collaborate with the DevOps engineer and Software Architect to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines.

Ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build and release process.

Participate in backlog grooming and iteration planning meetings.

Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and increase the efficiency of the testing team.

Proven experience in test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript.

Experience with .NET and Angular applications.

Proficiency with Azure DevOps.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

Previous experience transitioning a manual testing team to automation is highly desirable.
