Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing and supervising applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs, and monitoring progress for individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, utilizing evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions.
- Implement ABA programs and interventions, ensuring high treatment fidelity, and adjust interventions as needed based on ongoing data analysis.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and direct care staff, ensuring proper implementation of treatment plans and adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, modify treatment plans as necessary, and prepare progress reports for clients, families, and funding sources.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including families, caregivers, educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote a collaborative approach.
- Stay updated with the latest research, advances, and best practices in the field of behavior analysis, attending professional development opportunities and maintaining BCBA certification requirements.
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, implementing ABA programs and behavior interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficient understanding and application of the principles and concepts of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior modification techniques, and functional behavior assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients, families, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated expertise in data collection, analysis, and utilizing data-driven decision-making to modify treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
