NexThreat seeks a skilled and committed Information Systems Security Expert (ISSE) to join our dynamic team. As an ISSE, you will serve as a cornerstone in managing and processing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems and applications vital to NECC Training Division (N7) and Echelon IV commands. Your role will be pivotal in executing A&A packages within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) system and ensuring the integrity of system security.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and process Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems and applications used by NECC Training Division (N7) and Echelon IV commands- Plan, execute and manage A&A packages within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) system
- Provide engineering and technical analysis for system certification and accreditation support functions
- Ensure system, network, and application security integrity by developing, managing, and updating Certification and Accreditation requirements
- Apply defense in Depth methodologies to harden associated networks and systems
- Support Computer Network defense (CND) compliance directives and employ industry best practices in network and system security
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline preferred- Greater than five (5) years of practical experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or A&A-related field
Certifications:
Hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
