We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector with expertise in aerial construction and a deep understanding of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations, particularly in aerial infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Aerial Construction Projects: Conduct thorough inspections of aerial construction sites to verify compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and NESC requirements.
- Evaluate Safety and Compliance: Assess the safety of construction practices, equipment installations, and work methods to ensure adherence to NESC guidelines and local regulations.
- Document Inspection Findings: Record detailed observations, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions during inspections. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation as required.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with construction crews, contractors, engineers, and project managers to address compliance issues promptly and facilitate smooth project progression.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice on NESC requirements, best practices for aerial construction, and safety protocols to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor Quality Assurance: Monitor quality assurance processes to uphold construction standards and mitigate risks associated with aerial infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in construction inspection, particularly in aerial projects and familiarity with NESC requirements.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and NESC guidelines.
- Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., NESC Certified, Certified Construction Inspector) preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to identify compliance issues and ensure project integrity.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
