Duties:
- Provide supervision and support to individuals in a variety of settings, such as residential facilities, schools, or community centers
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all individuals under your care
- Implement crisis management techniques and interventions when necessary
- Assist with behavioral health interventions and strategies
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers or child protective services, to ensure the best outcomes for individuals
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations
- Conduct regular check-ins and monitor progress of individuals
- Document observations and incidents accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in social work, childcare, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and child welfare practices
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is a plus

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 12 per week

- Social work: 3 years (Required)
