Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.
Duties:
- Pick and pack customer orders according to order specifications
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
- Prepare items for shipment by verifying product quantity and quality
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Assist in order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes
- Prepare and package order for shipment. Verify product quantities, types, and accurate labeling
- Answer phone. Communicate with delivery drivers and production floors associates
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Quickbooks program is a plus
- Experience in a distribution center environment is beneficial
- Speaks English and Spanish
