Job Overview: This is a PART TIME position ideal for someone in college or in between jobs who wants to get experience talking with business owners and other people in charge of operations at businesses. Job pays a very competitive $20 per hour wage PLUS a hefty commission on every vending location sold.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing, promoting and distributing our innovative ice vending machines to convenience stores, RV parks, marinas, and other potential locations around Austin. The perfect person is someone who gets along with others and can present themselves to business owners in a professional manner. This role involves going directly to business owners to tell our amazing story. Most places that sell ice do so using an outdated old system involving freezers placed in 100 degree temperatures in the Austin area. This causes the ice to melt, re-freeze, then melt again to become clumpy and hard to break. Who wants this kind of ice? Our machines make fresh ice on site and use state of the art filtration to make clump free awesome ice on demand. What a concept!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door distribution and sales visits to convenience stores, RV parks, marinas, and other potential sites.
- Present and demonstrate the benefits and features of our ice vending machines to prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Identify and qualify sales leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
