Description:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all visitors into the Credit Union’s Headquarters building and performs a variety of administrative duties in support of several back-office departments.
This position is part time and normally scheduled approximately 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. This position shares a schedule with a second receptionist to provide coverage during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and for this reason there will be occasions this position will be requested to work additional hours to provide coverage. Availability during business hours and flexibility to work schedule adjustments to provide coverage is required. It is reasonable to expect this position could occasionally work full time (anytime Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with required meal breaks) to provide reception coverage for day(s) at a time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to members served by the Credit Union.
1. Greets and directs all members and guests to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner. Refers members and guests to appropriate staff as needed.
2. Maintains hardcopy and digital logs and binders as required.
3. Sorts, meters and distributes incoming and outgoing mail each day.
4. Receives, logs, and distributes deliveries to the appropriate departments.
5. Issues and logs temporary badges to employees, vendors and subcontractors.
6. Keeps all common areas neat and tidy including entrances and lobby, reception, meeting rooms, and breakrooms. Disposes of expired items as needed.
7. Ensures phone calls are answered and directed accordingly.
8. Assists in inventorying and stocking supplies.
9. Assists other departments in support of any daily tasks or assignments as needed.
10. Adheres to all LCU policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with the following regulations: BSA, OFAC, and other regulations as required.

The salary range for this role is between $16.85 and $21.06 an hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors as permitted by law.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year of office or administrative work experience. Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational, and customer service skills is required. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to use standard office equipment including PC and telephone.
