The Full Stack Developer, Human Resources Products will design, develop, test, and integrate moderate to complex software solutions possessing versatile expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The Full Stack Developer will collaborate with team members to accurately capture customer requirements, produce detailed design specifications, and develop reliable software code to deliver complete software solutions.
The Full Stack Developer will prepare technical documentation, provide ongoing support, and participate in full life-cycle development activities including moderately complex technical design, programming, unit, and integration testing. Additional responsibilities will include conducting research of emerging technologies and industry practices, making recommendations regarding best practices and technologies for adoption, and providing input to continual improvement activities for assigned projects. The Full Stack Developer, Human Resources Information Products will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively leverage human resources information products and applications. This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students. Salary & Compensation
- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

Three years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems, or a related field. (Required)
- Experience with database systems such as RDS MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ability to optimize data interactions. (Required)
- Experience working with human resources information systems applications, systems, and technologies (e.g., applicant tracking systems, human capital management systems, case management systems). (Required)
- Five or more years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems. (Preferred)
- Experience in complex higher education environments, serving academic and administrative functions of a large public university. (Preferred)
- Proficiency in building moderately complex front-end and back-end components of software applications. (Required)

Strong command of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue). Proficiency in server-side languages like Node.js, Python, Java, C# or similar for building robust back-end logic. (Required)

Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or Similar. Strong documentation skills for both front-end and back-end components, ensuring clarity for fellow developers and stakeholders. (Required)

Special Conditions for Employment
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular visits to campus as needed (for those who work remotely, travel/lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement).
The anticipated pay range for this position is $136,980-$150,768, annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.
