Full-time COTA/OTA needed in the East Valley area for the remainder of the '24-'25 school year.
We are hiring an occupational therapy assistant in a school-based supportive setting along with some duties at our clinic. We staff several schools for Speech & OT in Arizona, you'll be part of a team at this school and supervised by one of our own OTRLs. Also includes hours at our clinic in Gilbert, summer hours also a possibility.

== Job Duties ==
- Implementing Therapy Plans: Carry out individual or group therapy sessions with students targeting specific occupational therapy goals.
- Monitoring Progress: Help track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, providing valuable feedback to the supervising OT.
- Creating and Preparing Materials: Assist in creating or preparing therapy materials and resources to support students' learning and development.
- Providing Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement strategies that facilitate skills within the classroom environment.
- Supporting Home Practice: Work with students to ensure that therapy goals are reinforced through activities at home.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
Preferred candidates:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy
- Must be currently registered/licensed
- COTA preferred
- Must be able to pass and obtain applicable background check and fingerprint clearance to work in an educational setting
- Must have own laptop
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
- Maintains professional working relationships with all team members
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
