Responsibilities:
- Creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and associates by ensuring the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety standards.
- Repairs, or replaces items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting, or other miscellaneous items
- Together with the Housekeeping department, develops plans for completing routine and preventative maintenance and renovations. Coordinates work according to hotel occupancy.
- Maintains the inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
- Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the General Manager for further action.
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, grounds, pool, and exercise room
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of hotel or condo experience.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Experience with general maintenance tools.
- Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers and Management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
Experience:
Hotel or Condo Maintenance: 1 Year minimum

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
