We are currently seeking a licensed LCSW, LPC or LMFT, to serves as our Clinical Director of our Residential Services. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of Residential Services. He/she will ensure programs are clinically efficient and fiscally responsible; will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff under direct supervision.
Ensures departmental structure and maintains the day to day operations of Residential Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor and implement compliance with policies/procedure/guidelines for all funding/credentialing bodies (DCH, Medicaid, CARF, and more).
- Monitors budgets, authorizations, billing, staffing patterns, productivity and makes suggestions/improvements accordingly.
- Implements changes in program standards as required or needed.
- Insures all reports are completed and submitted appropriately.
- Monitors training records and insures training for staff meets requirements.
- Attends and participates in all required meetings and committees.
- Participates in the QA and UR activities as needed, including conducting peer-to-peer reviews as required.
- Professionally meets/networks with appropriate community partners.
- Performs other related job duties as required or needed.
- Collaborate with assigned therapist and other identified supports to implement individualized recovery plan.
- Locate needed services and provide referrals as necessary.
- Provide skills training in efforts to teach individuals skills to assist in relieving mental health concerns and behaviors.
- Understands how to work with CMO's on a daily basis
COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- At least four years of providing behavioral health services, preferred.
- At least two years of relevant supervisory experience, preferred.
- Must have knowledge and experience with the chronically mentally-ill population.
- Must have ability to design, develop and modify programming.
- Must have strong clinical skills.
- Must have experience with social media
- Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have ability to multi-task and remain organized.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Tact and diplomacy are of paramount importance.
EDUCATION: Ideal candidate will have a minimum licensure such as LMFT, LPC or LCSW.
