Looking to make an impact in the lives of children, adolescents and their families living with Autism? Summit Behavior Services (SBS) is currently seeking Behavior Technicians to work directly with our clients. No experience required - we will train. Individuals going into the field of Psychology preferred but not required.
Job description: Behavior Technicians at SBS work directly with our clients in-home, office, and community settings. Utilizing training provided both at time of hire and on an ongoing basis, our Behavior Technicians apply individualized treatment plans with our clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Job requirements:
- Applicant experience must meet one of the following: a high school diploma or a general education development (GED)
- Behavior Technicians drive to and from home-based client sessions so access to reliable transportation is required. Must be able to provide current driver's license and proof of car insurance.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to participate in physical activities outdoors.
- Position is part-time and can build up to full-time.

- Work well with teams (staff, families, and clinical consultants)
- Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to a variety of children with autism and related disorders.
- Maintain a positive attitude and show enthusiasm at work every day
- Implement programs developed by the therapist and BCBA
- Provide support in crisis situations, consistently implementing predetermined behavioral strategies
- Timely and accurate notification and documentation of incidents and plans
- Maintain accurate data on all designated programs
Some of the tasks associated with this role include but are not limited to:
- May accompany assigned student across environments (e.g., home and community) implementing behavioral objectives
- May work with other specialists and/or parents to implement additional specified goals and objectives
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle
- Attend orientation and other staff meetings as required
- Submit administrative materials in a timely manner
- Shifts available: 9AM-3PM, 3:30PM - 6:30 PM
