The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be licensed and also hold Wisconsin LPC licensure. Ideally, the LPC or LCSW will have experience and training in working with mental health and substance abuse as co-occurring disorders. A full and unrestricted license is required.
The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) reports to the Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor and will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of current patient records. The LPC or LCSW will maintain accurate and current records according to AMS policy and ensure that all requirements of Federal, State Regulations and accreditation standards are met and in full compliance. The LPC or LCSW is responsible for ensuring that every effort is made to assist the patient in reaching their treatment goals. The LPC or LCSW will coordinate and collaborate with other providers both internally and externally to expedite treatment for each patient. The LPC or LCSW will review and make recommendations on assessments and treatment plans for all dually diagnosed patients.
