Job Summary
Energo is seeking a positive, goal-oriented Diesel Truck Mechanic for our oil truck fleet. Our diesel mechanics operate in a fast-paced 365-day environment and are an integral part of our organization. Become part of a team of diesel mechanics serving our customers throughout the New York metro area.

The candidate must possess a high level of proficiency and working knowledge related to heavy-duty diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and fleet maintenance operations. Requirements
- Valid Commercial Class B (minimum) Driver’s License
- Expert in diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
- Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs such as brakes, air systems, air condition repairs etc.
- Perform safety inspections of equipment
- Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Remove or install various parts on vehicles
Required Skills
· Oil diesel engine repair experience or experience in a similar position
· Mechanical knowledge
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Clean Driver’s License
· Flexible work schedule, including extended hours, as necessary
· Possess a positive, can-do attitude
· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
· Must possess strength and stamina required to work with heavy equipment and work in awkward positions
· The ability to work alone or as a team
· The ability to keep up with changing technology and updates
Essential Duties
· Repair fuel delivery vehicles
· Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; adjustments and alignments; keeping accurate records
· Performing repairs and maintenance on diesel equipment
· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by the DOT, company and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations
· Interpret work orders and technical manuals
· Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
· Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacture's specifications and legislated regulations

Salary$30 - $50 per hour
Reports to Director of Safety & Compliance

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
