Job description:
You will be connected with Sumer Innovations' clients and prospects locally and remotely on the online platform to discuss the project scope and provide a quote. You will also be connected with our global network of experts with whom you will collaborate on projects. We have technical experts who can check your work and provide advice. We have drafters, junior and senior architects, and engineers who can do all the work within time and budget. You will decide whether to use other freelancers and how much to pay them to do the work. You will not be burned out or working by yourself, and you will have the opportunity to grow your income.
Responsibilities:
- Provide civil engineering services for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare site plans, grading plans, utility plans, erosion and sediment control plan, drainage reports, Septic design, reports, site investigation, Landscape and irrigation plan, etc.
- Conduct technical analysis and calculations to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of engineering designs.
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in civil engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for drafting and design purposes.
- Experience with project engineering and management, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
