DESCRIPTION:
Under supervision, this entry level position works closely with the Customer Service Manager while being trained to perform a variety of customer service and data processing functions including handling basic customer calls, answering E-mails, clerical functions, filing, and other related duties as assigned. This position will be trained to provide technical support to our end users and vendors.
What you will be doing:
-Work with multiple teams to handle customer service inquiries from multiple sales channels.
-Answer all incoming phone calls and Emails professionally and promptly. Direct all calls to the proper department.
-Properly and effectively communicate with the customer regarding orders, warranty, and/or claims, and resolving any issues. Following up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Investigate customers’ claims, diagnose the issues, and ensure the validity of the claims.
-Provide product support, solutions, and suggestions for products based on customers’ needs.
-Upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
-Always maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers.
-Testing products, identifying any issues encountered, and providing feedback, solutions, and opinions.
-Learning about new products and their place in the market.
-Following customer service guidelines and procedures.
-May need to work in/with other departments if necessary.
-Uploading data files, keeping all files organized and a clean workspace.
Requirements:
-1 year of Customer Service Experience or equivalent experience
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Correct English usage, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
-Strong computer and typing skills, 40+ WPM with knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, E-mail, and Web Browsing.
-Able to listen and be attentive to the customer, strong patience skills are required.
-The ability to calmly diffuse various situations.
-Multitask and be able to prioritize different tasks while completing them.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
-Some light lifting may be required
-High School Graduate or GED
-Knowledge of wiring and electricity is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
-Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and/or Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
