Job Summary:
This position will be a hybrid of being able to bar back, plate simple dishes for service, and run the door. All duties will not be performed simultaneously but rather one employee will handle bar back/plating while another works door. This employee should be able to fill either roll as needed.
Duties:
- Keep glassware clean and polished behind bar
- Plate and deliver small plates as ordered
- Prepare beer/wine/cocktails as needed
- Control flow of customers into bar
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Accurately check identification
Requirements:
- Team player mentality
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for patrons
- Ability to bus tables
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
