POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for lead generation, conversion, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers and optimizing the customer service experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Contact new and existing accounts and provide support by understanding the customer’s business, anticipating their future needs and becoming their primary supplier.
Meet/exceed minimum number of phone calls.
Ensure CRM records are up to date and kept current.
Participate in all required training.
Monitor and report on market conditions/feedback.
Provide excellent and ongoing customer service and support.
Recognize and identify customer needs and implement suggestive selling.
Forecasting to maximize customer assortment.
Maintain vast product knowledge to emphasize product features and benefits, negotiate prices, discuss terms and prepare sales agreements and/or reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred or an applicable combination of education and experience.
Sales experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Proficient and effective communication – Verbal and Written
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of normal departmental operating hours.
