Job Position: HVAC Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Summary:
The HVAC Operations Manager will oversee the Technicians that install, repair, and maintain heating and air conditioning units in a residential setting, providing guidance and technical expertise, as well as maintaining direct involvement with dispatch personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and company goals are met.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of HVAC install and service technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service operations
· Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and meet company objectives
· Evaluate technician performance, provide coaching, and conduct training sessions to improve productivity and skills
· Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify upselling opportunities and promote HVAC services
· Maintain strong customer relationships, promptly address concerns, and meet their needs
· Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of equipment and parts
· Enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulations
· Prepare and analyze service reports to identify improvement areas and implements corrective measures
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong and in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and systems
· Ability to motivate, manage, and train a team of HVAC technicians
· Strong understanding of HVAC functions, duct-work modifications, and design
· Ability to create strategy and goals for team productivity and quality of work
· Ability to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuits related to HVAC and systems
· Knowledge of local codes
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
· HVAC Certification/License preferred
· Previous management experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Able to lift up to 30 lbs at a time
