Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing manufacturer and company-specific Preventative Maintenance services and light-duty repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and implements
- Inspecting equipment for indicators of present or potential component failure
- Safety inspections and reporting inoperable conditions
- Parts identification, inventory management, and parts ordering
- Operating all company equipment within professional protocols
- Recording and updating repair and service records in a timely fashion
- Processing Scheduled Oil Samples (SOS) reports and analysis
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results when applicable
- Working outside on projects on an as-needed basis
Qualifications
- Class B CDL with air brakes, hazmat, and tankers endorsements (Class A preferred)
- Valid medical card and a clean driving record
- 2-4 years of heavy equipment service experience or the combined equivalent of education and experience
- Familiar with heavy equipment, commercial truck, and light-duty truck service requirements
- Capable of delivering high-yield production with limited supervision in a fast-paced work environment
- Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Employment may be contingent upon MVR approval of the company insurance provider
